Clare Cunningham is a partner in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability, Construction, and Transportation Practices. She relies on her sharp strategic judgment and extensive experience in resolving a wide array of civil litigation matters. Since 2002, Ms. Cunningham has defended numerous General Liability and Construction/Labor law cases for building owners, contractors, and municipal agencies, involving personal injury and property damage claims. Her civil defense practice also includes experience with Automobile and Transportation liability, Premises Liability, and Dram Shop claims. Ms. Cunningham has diverse experience handling all aspects of claims and litigation assessment, management, and resolution. She takes cases from inception up to trial and has achieved many successful outcomes for clients through settlement negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, and dispositive motions.

Ms. Cunningham advises on the establishment of guidelines, procedures, and safety programs to help clients comply with the intricate regulations under the Labor Law, as well as the New York State Industrial Code, OSHA, and other administrative codes.
