Mike Jacobellis has practiced law in Houston and Beaumont, Texas for 30 years. He has tried over 150 cases to jury verdict in Federal Court and State Courts in Harris, Jefferson, Orange, Jasper, Newton, Liberty, Polk, Hardin, and Trinity Counties. He has argued appeals in the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Beaumont Court of Appeals, the Houston Courts of Appeal, and the Tyler Court of Appeal. He has represented Doctors in professional liability matters and in commercial litigation. Since 2000, has handled over 50 medical malpractice cases involving physicians, hospitals, nurses, and nursing homes.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Jacobellis gained experience as a law clerk to Hon. Joe J. Fisher, U.S. District Judge, E.D. Texas (1980-1982).
