Amneet Mand is a senior associate in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois. Amneet defends clients in products liability, general liability, and New York Labor Law matters. On a regular basis, Amneet litigates in the New York Supreme Courts and in the Northern, Eastern, and Southern United StatesDistrict Courts of New York. Additionally, as Pro Hac Vice, Amneet protects the interests of national and international clients alike by overseeing litigation issues in product liability matters across the country. 

Amneet has Civil and Criminal Trial and Appellate experience. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Amneet added civil trial and appellate experience to her repertoire at a prominent medical malpractice law firm in New York. She became adept at using the tools of New York Civil Procedure to secure speedy resolutions for her clients at low costs. She also learned the value of creating excellent records for trials, summary judgment motions, and appeals while assisting the Appellate Strategy & Advocacy group.  

Amneet began her legal career defending indigent juveniles and adults in criminal court as a Public Defender in the 15^th Judicial District, where she obtained invaluable experience as a trial attorney. As a Public Defender, Amneet became skilled at thinking on her feet and quickly recalling constitutional law, criminal procedure, and evidentiary rules in court. As a Public Defender, the most valuable lesson Amneet learned is that an attorney’s role extends far beyond trying a case with competent skills, it includes exemplifying impeccable professional conduct and protecting their client’s dignity from the inception of a case.
