Georgia D. Reid is an associate in the Newark office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. Before joining the firm, Ms. Reid worked as a general liability and construction law attorney at a regional New Jersey civil defense firm. Prior to joining that firm, Ms. Reid clerked for the Honorable Peter J. Tober, P.J.Cr., and the Honorable Anthony F. Picheca (ret.), in Somerset County, NJ. 

While attending law school, Ms. Reid was the Online Editor of the Touro Law Review, where she edited and published numerous articles by legal scholars and founded Touro Law Review Podcast. A Dean’s Scholarship recipient, Ms. Reid completed law school in just 24 months while maintaining a GPA of over 3.76. Ms. Reid completed an externship at the United States Attorneys’ Office in the Eastern District of New York, the Suffolk County Planning Commission, and the Empowerment Collaborative of Long Island, where she assisted survivors of human trafficking with various legal needs. Furthermore, Ms. Reid was awarded the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award for Touro Law Center’s class of 2021, as well as numerous other accolades. An avid writer, Ms. Reid won a writing contest for the Buffalo Environmental Law Journal, which published her 2021 article on the Clean Water Act, and was “best runner up” in the Animal Legal Defense Fund Student Writing Contest. She published her first note, entitled “No Standing and No Recourse: The Threat to Employee Data Under Current U.S. Cybersecurity Regulation,” for the Touro Law Review in May of 2021. Ms. Reid also founded Touro Law Center’s Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, volunteered for the Unemployment Action Center during the COVID-19 pandemic, and was a member of the Student Bar Association.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Reid had a career in writing and marketing. In addition to her work as an attorney, Ms. Reid continues to write for various legal publications and tutors students for the Bar Exam.
