Brooke E. Washburn is a partner in the Walnut Creek office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice.

Ms. Washburn is a 2002 graduate of California State University, Chico and 2005 graduate of New England School of Law. Following law school, Ms. Washburn returned to California and started working for a boutique insurance defense firm, defending contractors in complex construction defect actions. Over the course of several years, Ms. Washburn expanded her insurance defense practice to include coverage litigation, products liability, premises liability, trucking and automobile litigation, real estate, and personal injury. 

Prior to joining LBBS, Ms. Washburn worked for a prominent Sacramento firm specializing in construction disputes and administrative proceedings. Throughout her tenure in private practice and as in-house counsel for a fortune 500 insurance company, Ms. Washburn excels at strategic litigation and adjudication. Ms. Washburn has successfully defended high exposure liability claims from inception through jury trials throughout the States of California and Nevada. 

To serve her community, Ms. Washburn has served on the Board of the El Dorado County’s Area Planning Advisory Committee and is a member of her local Rotary chapter. When she is not hustling from one after-school activity to another, Ms. Washburn can be found cycling or on a golf course.
